A Journey Through the Sand

I grew up following Your footprints in the sand, each step a gentle reminder of Your presence, guiding me through the ebb and flow of life. The path was clear, a well-trodden route that I embraced without hesitation. I knew the way and never had to question it; Your love was my compass, unwavering and true.

Yet, in moments of quiet reflection, I found myself gazing at the horizon, wondering if there was a better view beyond the familiar shoreline. The allure of the unknown tugged at my heart, whispering promises of discovery. But in my quest for something more, I became disoriented, turned around by the shifting tides of uncertainty. I thought I had lost my way to You.

It wasn't part of my plan, but in that moment of exploration, I lost my anchor. The rip tide pulled me under, swift and relentless, dragging me into depths I had not anticipated. In those overwhelming waves, I felt small and powerless—my strength waned as I struggled against the current. The world blurred around me, and fear took hold as I drifted further from the shore.

But then, amidst the chaos and confusion, I heard You calling in the distance. Your voice—a melody that cut through the noise—brought clarity to my stormy heart. It was a reminder of all that I had known and all that I still held dear. In that moment of grace, I remembered Your unwavering love and guidance.

With renewed hope, I turned toward Your light, following the sound of Your call like a beacon in the night. Step by step, I retraced my path through the sand, feeling the warmth of Your presence envelop me once more. The journey back was not just about finding my way; it was about rediscovering the strength within me that had always been rooted in You.

And so, as I stand once again on solid ground, I realize that even in moments of doubt and drifting, Your love remains my anchor. Each wave may challenge me, but with every call from You, I am reminded that no matter how far I wander, there is always a way back to You—a journey worth taking time and time again.
