Glimpses of Eternity

In the tapestry of our earthly days,
Woven with threads of joy and pain,
We sometimes forget to lift our gaze
To the promise of eternal gain.

Each day brings its battles, big and small,
PNES casting shadows long and deep,
Yet beyond this temporal thrall,
A greater promise we're meant to keep.

Our bodies bear the marks of strife,
Visible and hidden, deep within,
But these are testaments to life,
Not permanent stains upon our skin.

For in Heaven, we're told, no scars remain,
All tears are wiped away at last,
No more sorrow, no more pain,
The struggles of earth forever past.

So in moments when burdens feel too great,
When earthly trials threaten to consume,
We fix our eyes on that pearly gate,
Where eternal healing is in bloom.

These difficult days, though they loom large,
Are but a blink in Heaven's sight,
Our current struggles will discharge,
Replaced by everlasting light.ds

With feet on earth and hearts above,
We navigate this complex space,
Holding tight to eternal love,
While running our earthly race.

In keeping our eyes on Heaven's shore,
We find strength for each new day,
Knowing that forevermore,
Our scars will be healed away.

This too shall pass, this earthly plight,
And what awaits is pure and whole,
So let us walk in Heaven's light,
Even as we pay earth's toll.
